I brewed hot tea and coffee at the station located in the common areas every morning. These expansive spaces seemed like home, while my room measured as large as a ballroom. I enjoyed the stay at this villa because of the proximity to the event I attended near Queens Park Savannah.

I ate breakfast in the shade on the upper floor veranda while I looked over the lights of Port of Spain. Carolyn rented me a local cell phone for my stay, which helped with navigating the city. I also used the communal kitchen to brew my coffee and prepare meals after I walked to a nearby supermarket.

I swam in the temperate pool with a stone dragon by the water. My room contained a kitchenette for preparing meals. I walked to The Deck on Ariapita Avenue for drinks in the evening.

Two bedrooms and bathrooms near the park

I used the full kitchen during my stay, while I relaxed in the two separate bedrooms of the apartment behind the house. Someone met me upon my late arrival to show me the place, which sits five minutes from the East Queens Park Savannah. I showered in the bathroom with the seated bath before I slept soundly despite the nearby festivities.
